About Me

Dr. Kirsten Beshay

OTD, MA, OTR/L, CIEE, CEAS I & III

Occupational Therapist & Ergonomic Consultant

Kirsten is an occupational therapist who loves involving more therapy practitioners in the world of ergonomics. She hopes that "Ergonomics for Occupational Therapy Practitioners" will develop a new generation that will elevate the practice area by employing standardized assessments, research literature, and excellent patient education. Kirsten enjoys speaking at conferences and on podcasts to introduce ergonomics to more practitioners.

Kirsten spent five years as a contractor on the Google Global Ergonomics Team, where she traveled the world educating teams and piloting projects. She completed her clinical doctorate in occupational therapy (OTD) at Boston University, where she designed her first ergonomics course. Kirsten has also worked in healthcare and school settings as an occupational therapist, where ergonomic principles are ever present.
